Winifred has one entrance for cars (no thru traffic). There are three (3) cart entrances including direct access to Palmer Legends 1st tee and another Laurel Manor Regional Recreation Center and Sports Pool. The third path leads to the main multi-modal path along Buena Vista Blvd. The newly refurbished Winifred adult pool/postal station is just a short walk around the corner (~700 feet).

A season rental (Jan-Mar) is preferred, but will consider monthly and Long Term.

This Oleander/Hawthorne model home features mature plantings with three large queen palms in the front and tall lush scrubs in the back for privacy. The large living room features vaulted ceilings with a large arched palladium window, electric fireplace and a 55" Roku/Firestick 4K TV with full streaming. The kitchen with island, is fully stocked, has tons of storage and an opening to the dining room. The indoor washer/dryer is off the kitchen. The master suite has a King Size bed, 3 windows with separate walk in closets (his and hers). There are dual sinks in the master bath with a walk in shower with seating. The queen sized guest bedroom features a custom bay window seat. There's also an office with desk and futon.

There's no carpet (other than area rugs) in the home with ceramic tile in the bathrooms. We have no pets. The ceilings are "knockdown" texture (no popcorn) with crown modeling throughout. We've furnished the home to include plenty of towels, sheets, pillows and kitchen needs. The home has gas for heating and cooking. The upgraded black stainless steel kitchen appliances are newer with dual icemakers in the French Door refrigerator.

The north facing back of the home features an L shaped lanai and an outdoor patio all with tall mature plantings for privacy. There's a patio set, chairs and a gas BBQ for your use.

* All utilities (gas for cooking), trash, lawn service, pest control, internet, etc are included.
* 7% Florida/Sumter County tax is not included in the rates (required for rentals of 6 months or less)
* 50% of the total rent plus security deposit are due at the time of booking and the balance 60 days before arrival.

$1500 Security due at booking and refunded within 7 days at end of rental period, pending an inspection of the home when all keys, garage door openers (2) and gate passes (2) are returned. There is a $50 charge for lost garage door opener or gate pass.

$200 Cleaning Fee (subtracted from security deposit) if needed.

Reservation deposit will be refunded upon cancellation ONLY if home is rented to another person at the same rate during the same time period.

This rental is for a maximum occupancy of 2 adults. Guests staying beyond a two nights are at additional cost of $100 per week (maximum of 4 adults total) and shall be reported to the owner.

Owners live in Winifred. Any issue/problem/need will immediately be resolved.

This is an active Senior Community for residents 55 yrs+.
Young visitors are allowed for limited time periods.
Family activities are provided.
