Fenney Rec Center has a zero-entry pool and the nearby inviting fire pit to enjoy at sundown. Also nearby is the Hogeye Preserve, Ednas on the Green with daily live music and all the desirable areas surrounding.

My Cottage is perfect for a single or a couple looking for a cozy home away from home to relax after enjoying the many daily activities and beautiful places the Villages has to offer. You will love and find this cottage extremely comfortable and easy to maintain. It has a nice landscaping with white picket fence all cared for you.

Be impressed with volume ceilings and luxury flooring throughout the home with no carpet. Enjoy added privacy with a view of open space out the living and bedroom windows . There is a 60-inch high-definition smart TV in the living room (not shown in the photos).

The kitchen has white cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances with a gas range and laminate counters and opens to the dining and living areas. You will find all you need if you truly enjoy cooking.

The bedroom has an elegant and comfortable queen size bed. Bed linen, pillows, pillow protectors and covers, as well towels are either brand new or kept in prime condition.There is a walk-in closet and privacy from the bedroom windows.

A vertical washer and dryer are located in the house. There is also a drying rack for towels and swimsuits and a sink in the garage.
Included are hair dryer, iron and iron board. Two chairs so you can enjoy seating at outdoors events.

This is a new property in the market and some items are currently added to the house that are not included in the picture (like TV, fire pit, rugs, the umbrella in the patio).

BONUS: for the months of February, March, April 2026 I will include int the rate a two-seat gas golf cart, which is insured with roadside assistance.
For subsequent months the golf cart is not included (at this moment) so you need to make your own arrangements for that.

I live in the Villages and I will most likely welcome you to my cottage. In case I am not in town, I will have a contact person to assist with eventual needs.

Rental Policy:
All amounts are in US dollars.
Reservation is secured once the contract is agreed and signed with $500 security deposit, and $125 cleaning fee, and half amount of rent due within 7 days of booking, signed contract. The other half of the rental amount is due within 60 days of booking when applicable, otherwise full amount due prior to occupancy.

Deposit is non-refundable, unless if re-rented. Fully refunded deposit is due to tenant 30 days after end of rental period, and if property is kept in same condition as found with no damages to the property. Tenant shall receive and collect applicable interest based on the interest rate payable on such account where this advance deposit is held by landlord. Currently this represents approximately 2.25% annual interest applied to the deposit amount.

The price includes $50 fee for 2 temporary resident ID cards (optional) and the mandatory Florida State and Sumter County taxes, where this property is located. (These taxes are waived only if rental period is equal or above contiguous 6 months. Taxes shall be reported and paid by the landlord to Florida Department of Revenue DOR). In Sumter County, the total sales tax is currently assessed at 7.0%, which includes Florida's 6% state sales tax plus a 1% Sumter County discretionary sales surtax
